A mound of fine premium matcha powder with a bamboo scoop resting on it

Premium Matcha

The matcha you drink on a Tuesday. Japanese leaf, stone-ground to a fine bright powder, priced so a daily latte is not something you have to ration.

Ceremonial Matcha

Our best-selling tin, and the one most people mean when they say matcha. First-harvest Japanese leaf: sweet, smooth, with no bitterness that needs hiding behind milk.

A dark ceramic bowl of whisked imperial matcha with a bamboo whisk resting inside

Imperial Matcha

The best cup we know how to sell. First-harvest leaf chosen for sweetness rather than yield, ground slowly enough that the powder feels like silk — the tin to buy if you drink your matcha with nothing added.

A cup of ube latte with a swirl of cream beside a halved purple yam

Ube

The violet drink you have seen on Instagram, and the colour is real: ube is a purple yam, dried and milled, nothing added to make it that shade. Sweet, vanilla-ish, faintly nutty, and completely caffeine free.

A dark clay cup of roasted hojicha with steam rising from it

Hojicha

Green tea that has been roasted until it is brown, and tastes of caramel and toasted rice rather than grass. Most of the caffeine burns off in the roast, which makes it the cup you can have at nine at night.

A bamboo whisk, a pink and green glazed matcha bowl and a steel sifter arranged together

Matcha Set

Everything you need to make matcha properly at home, in one box: the bowl, the whisk and the sifter. Bought separately the same three pieces cost more, and this is the set most people start with — including nearly everyone buying a gift.

A pink and green glazed matcha bowl with a pouring spout beside scattered matcha powder

Matcha Bowl

A proper chawan: wide, shallow, glazed, with a spout on one side so you can pour the whisked bowl straight into a glass of milk. The one piece of equipment that changes how your matcha turns out.

Bamboo Whisk

One piece of bamboo, split by hand into around a hundred tines. It is the cheapest thing in the shop and the one that makes the biggest difference to what ends up in the cup.
